I MADE A DEAL WITH THE DEALERSHIP THAT THEY WOULD TAKE ALL THE STUFF I PUT ON MY BIKE AND SWITCH IT WITH THE NEW BIKE AND JUST PAY FOR THE LABOR.I'M REALLY CONSIDERING THIS. MY WIFE WANTS ME TO KEEP THE BIKE ONE MORE YEAR.ITS GOT 1000 MILES ON IT . OR IF SOMEONE MAKES ME A OFFER I MIGHT DO THAT. DEALERSHIP SAID THEY WOULD GIVE ME 7K FOR IT I PAID $9900. that really is a d@mn straight deal. If you really want that bike, that's a deal for them to hook you up with that on the trade. They really aren't making out. Those guys must like you at that dealership. That's extremely fair. Of coarse you could sit on it and get another grand out right, but that's a pretty hassle free deal.1 up

It sounds like it. It's always great to establish a relationship with a dealership like that. It's hard to put a value on being able to make deals that leave you satisfied when you're walking away from the exchange. Especially on trades. I would just go thru the process in my mind, as I'm sure you've done. If I know that I'll be happy with the deal and not feel short changed in any way. That's all I could ask for really. If you really need to get that top dollar out of your bike to feel satisfied, you might want to hold off for the right buyer.Originally posted by FUZO View Post1 up
