Re: John MCain is the next president

I'm glad I wasn't born while my parents had to be out of the country or I wouldn't be American enough for some folks. I was indeed born here and only been out of the country twice. Am I still American enough solidground even though I've been out of the country on vacation?
You can argue about who's more American. McCain was born out of the country while his father was serving elsewhere for the USA. To hold that against him is absurd. Come on... Obama's father was East African, and his mother Polynesian, Obama's step father moved him to Indonesia to get the culture he felt so strongly about. And the arguement goes on... We don't have that great of choices. I think everybody can agree on that. I think we all care about how American our leaders of this country are though. If you don't mind heading the direction of the leftist, socialist way. The same way as Che Guevera, Karl Marx, Hugo Chavez, Adolf ******, you might not be too worried. I, on the other hand, don't care to see us go that direction. While we watch some countries gain liberties and prosper, we can watch our's dwindle away as our government gains full control over us. Let them take care of our doctor visits, anything to do with health, education, food and water... While you're paying for your child's health coverage, education, living expenses,..while you're responsible for their well being, you have the right of government in pretty much every aspect you feel necessary, don't you?
We do know that Obama is as radical left as he could be. His record proves it. He shrugged off his flag with Che Guevera (Marxist revolutionary) like it was nothing. He refuses to wear an American flag lapel pin. I know, big deal, but when you're running for president, what kind of statement is that?

Now I'm not putting McCain or anybody else up on a pedestal of perfection by any means. I am making a statement against leftist socialism.

^^^i'm not a fan of socialism either, but it's rather ironic when you say that someone like obama or hillary will move us in the direction of adolf ******, considering that the current administration has us closer to facism than any other point in our history as a nation.

we're already watching our liberties (and individual prosperity) dwindle. once again, due to the current administration's policies. they read our emails, open our mail, listen in on our phone conversations, etc. the economy is in the toilet HELLO,
            MCFLY?!!!

yet these remaining 19% still say "but, but, but, but the democrats!" every chance they get, as if to say things will be worse under them.

sorry guys, but your team has already set the bar so **** low with their colossal string of ****ups it won't be hard to improve upon their work.

who knows- right now it is definitely the dems race to lose.

i'm a republican too, so the thought of a left wing liberal running the white house doesn't really make me tingle in my special place.

but, this neoconservative agenda that has a stranglehold on our party needs to come to an end. true conservatism just isn't a part of the organization any more. i think the closest any of the GOP come to being conservative is their rederick during election season. there is nothing conservative about the way the republican party is being run.

it has ****ed this country up so badly over the past 8 years that it almost seems impossible, but **** if they didn't pull it off.

can mccain fix things? no way. not with his war plans- you can guarantee trillions more will be spent on foreign campaigns if he is in control. you can also count on a draft... there is no way the volunteer armed forces can sustain the current course, much less the future neocon directives.

there's something evil about the politics of fear and ignorance. look at where they have gotten us.

The biggest problem with the economy is the housing/ lending, mess. That disaster was set in motion during Clinton's run. But, that's the democratic way. Whatever is going on, blame it on the republicans. And the American way...Whatever problems are happening, dam the current administration. Unless it's a democrat in office. Then the democrats still blame the last republican to set foot near the white house.

The ecomony was strong after the 2001 issue, then the brilliant lending plan caught up with everybody and here we are, pulling our way out of it though. By the time Obama is throwing his feet up on the desk saying "this is pretty cool", we should be coming along fine after the summer months and this is all history. Then everybody will just chalk it up that Obama magically flipped the economy around the moment he walked through the doors. As well as everything else that will be well with the economy over his term, all credit will go to Obama. If the economy slips, no matter how far into his term, you still got Bush to blame it on.

the bill has already been drafted. it was by a democrat- who believes that a draft will end the war because it will become personal for more americans.

the draft age is from 18-42.

i'm telling you bro, there is no way the current volunteer armed forces can sustain the current course, much less mccain's future plans. they can't even defend our own borders effectively. we are currently our most vulnerable in 50 years because our military is overextended in foreign BS campaigns.

                                bro,

are you really saying that the state of our economy is not due to the trillions spent in iraq, the loose fiscal domestic and international policies and endless printing of money to pay back foreign debt? these are all the policy of the current administration.

and why always the "but but but the democrats!"? everything is always degenerated into a left vs. right issue. and behind it all they are taking our country away from us, we're just too busy fighting amongst ourselves to take notice.

                                sad.

the democrats are scum and the republicans are scum... they are just different flavors of poo. they might taste a little different, but in the end you are still eating s h i t.
