Anyone into hometheatre systems?

I'm trying to decide which brand to go with for my living room, and i think i'm going to go with cerwin vega for everything ... they make my favorite sub and center channel, so i guess i'll use them for everything ...

i'm running a 42" pioneer tv
onkyo tx-sr800 reciever
cerwin vega 15" sub
cerwin vega dual 6.5" centerchannel box

i just need to get my ass in gear and get the rest of the surround speakers picked out ...

I love theatre systems! Right now I have a 50" High Definition Plasma TV, sony speakers and subwoofer as well as a JVC tuner! I am going to change all the speakers pretty soon and when I do I am going to get 2 subwoofers a 10" and a 15" for different sounds as well as double highs on the front sides and 2 sets for the rears! I am basically going to keep this surround sound system and get another one for more quality!

When I start looking I will let you know what I see out there that is a good deal but still quality!

bro i got a 61" inch phillips with rca surrond 500watts output . i hook these babies up on the side for people. get one with alot of output watts that does make a big diff. if u can afford BOSE surrond sound stuff is the shit. the stuf like gearedup has the tv is the new big time stuff.any particular questions pm me

Damn, you guys have some sick shit. I have some decent Onkyo speakers, subwoofer, and an Onkyo receiver too. Only a normal 36" television though. I want a plasma television so badly.

I had the 50" for 2 weeks and then decided i couldn't justify the money on it ... but those 2 weeks were great for movies ...

my reciever will handle 800 watts output, so i'm looking for some reasonable surround speakers that i can purchase seperately instead of a set ...

i like cerwin-vega and polk audio the best as far as sound quality goes though ...

I have the 50" now and when my house gets built I am getting a 63" for living room and 42" for each bedroom and for my bedroom I will use the 50"! I have mine on a custom stand it looks like a cobra snake and just the stand was freakin $1500! I will take a picture of it let me buy some batteries for my digital camera!
