5 hour energy drink

actually it looks like more of a shot than a drink. Have any of you tried it? I thought about it but I'm too damn cheap and blown too much $ on shyt that don't work, lol!

I have heard that those drinks can cause kindey stones if you drink them frequently. Dont know how much truth there is to that but I have had kidney stones before I never want to again.

i've had them kite...they dont do shyt. their in an orange/red bottle?...get them at 7/11 or circle k's?...they blow. get redline or spike (i think its from biotest or bioquest) they (spike) work best for me for hrs.

Yeah they suck, and they taste like shyt too. Redline is my drink of choice, ya cant go wrong with it

Those energy drinks are mostly a waste of money pally. They put 20,000mcg of B12 in the drink itself, and claim a "HUGE B12 KICK!!!" Well, B12 is a water soluble. So 90% of it's absorbed and pissed out through the first pass. So now you have 1800mcg of B12. Second pass, another 5% is gone. So your actually absorbing approx 800mcgs of B12. For $12, you can buy 250MLS of B12 complex, and a pound of coffee, which will last you 6 months, get better results, and is much cheaper!! For an extra $5, you can buy a pack of smelling salts

I tried it a few times and it does work but nothing to brag about. A cup of coffee or a green tea is what I would take. Plus the taste is worse than having a shot of Apple Cider Vinegar,

Yeah, bout what I figured. Thanks for the input guys. I usually just hit some green tea extract or caffeine with a b-complex before I hit the gym and it helps out, it's also a hell of alot cheaper than buyin those little bottles would be.
