anyone been there? Im taking the family to maui for a week in march...the kids are stoked!I have been to oahu, and kauai about 10 years ago, and it was awesome...i hope maui is as nice

ME AND MY FAMILY WENT TO OAHU AND STAYED FOR 2 WEEKS. WE WERE NEAR THE NORTH SHORE AT A PLACE CALLED LAIE POINT. IT WAS A BLAST! I DIDNT WANT TO COME HOME!
IRON GOOK IS STATIONED THERE NOW I THINK

have family on maui, its more laid back compared to the other islands but I think its probably one of the better islands for a family.Comment

It's been many years ago, but I went to Maui and Moloka‘i. Maui is beautiful and there is a ton of things to do there, but Moloka‘i was better. The food on Moloka‘i was incredible. At the time there were only a couple of hole in the wall restaurants, but it was authentic Hawaiian cooking.
On Maui, I would highly recommend the Blue Hawaiian Helicopter tours. They are incredible and they video tape the tour, so you get a copy of it. It's worth every penny!!
