ON EBAY?? I JUST ORDERED AN IPOD SHUFFLE AND IT CAME IN AND IT WAS A CHEAP CHINESE KNOCK OFF IN AN APPLE BOX. I WAS SO PISSED. PLUS IT STILL HAD SOMEONES MUSIC ON IT LABELED AS BRAND NEW

I research every seller thoroughly and make sure to email in questions with every order for anything bigger than a DVD (even then I am skeptical of most sellers). I ordered Batman Begins 2 times and got a bootleg the first time and a region 9 the second, before I finally went and bought it at Target. Problem is if you send the crap back, they can always say they didnt receive it and you dont get a refund AND dont get the ****e they sent you. Its buyer beware unfortunately, my only advice: Read EVERY page of feedback, generally other people will have negative experiences with crap sellers

i've been lucky! i've baught and sold alot of cars on e-bay, with only 1 prob. and that was a seller not wanting to honor my winning bid...

i got scammed once on a 1 cent dvd sale. paid the 1 cent and the 5.95 shipping and handling but never got the dvd. so some dude made 6 bucks off me. not the end of the world for me but if he scams 100 people like that a day and no one reports him, like i didn;t, he stands to make about $220,000 a year.

scammers/con-artist/etc...must play hell with karma. I don't know though. I thought I was a pretty good guy, but I'm paying for somebody's bs...
something I did in a past life or something. I hope karma is a man because if I run across him I'm gonna kick his fukin ass then ask 'why'.

I haven't bought anything off eBay, but I sold all my formal china and a few other items. I made pretty good bucks off it.

The sad thing is when I was in high school I was in the hospital. A friend gave me a Garfield ceramic music box. When I was going through stuff packed up in boxes that we moved into our new place, I found it. Not thinking much about it, I through it in the box to donate to Goodwill. I was one the net one night itemizing what all I had donated for our taxes. There was the Garfield music box exactly like on eBay going for $100!!!!

My dad was scamed years ago when ebay scams were just starting actually never heard of one until it happend to us. He was trying to buy me a streetbike for my bday (gsxr 750 $3300 shipped) and that was itleast 2k less than it should have been. Well we paid anyway even though it was in the back of his head as not a good idea, but we had never heard of something like that happening. Well of course we didnt get anything and he was out $3300. I still feel horible about that and one day will pay him back b/c that just sucks.
