i really wish the film of the '74 olympia would get released, i think george butler has it or maybe arnold purchased it. either way, arnold was a good 15 pounds heavier at that show. h came in light in '75 (pumping iron) because he had just finished filming stay hungry and he lost a ton of weight for that role. he only had three months to get ready for the olympia.

i think arnie in '74 is one of the greatest physiques of all time. i'll try and dig up some pics.

here's a few pics of arnold from the '74 Olympia and one from just before the contest. note the additional size, you can really see it in the legs in the 3rd shot.

Ronnie looks like a giant compared to Arnold, but I'd prefer Arnold's look over Ronnie's anytime of the day.

What do you guys think he will do if he doesn't come back. Now that he retired from professional competing will he take it slow with the training and AAS/GH...which will result in size loss ? or will he stay the monster for another 5 yrs.

i don't know why he'd still hit the sauce that hard, I'm sure he will use forever just like us but he might get down to a more liveable weight much like Lee Haney and other past champions do...you can't live like that forever

i don't know why he would risk it, he's 43 years old now... remember what happened to don ross?

ronnie is racked with injuries, and IMO he looked bad at the last olympia. he went out with class and should keep it that way.

                        +1

everything just flowed nicely. the legs could probably have used a little more size, but overall he looked almost perfect.

he also knew how to present his physique. in reality, his waist wasn't all that small, he had wide hips. BUT, he knew how to pose and make it look small. he also had really good gut control... that must have taken a long time and alot of concentration to always keep it held in like that.

i'll take arnie '74 over any other physique.
