What a depressing phuquing show. It's hard to believe people like that are actually out there. You can't say it's just the celebrities. These are just the ones highlited because they're celbs.
Now UFC fighter Ricco Rodriguez is coming to rehab.

Bro i was one of them ,and i'm glad i went to rehab since then my life has changed.People have problems and use because it makes them numb. For me it was my ****ed up childhood and other things which never had a chance to deal with and when I dealt with them BECAUSE I WENT TO REHAB my life has changed.Dont be so judgmental bro.
I'm not judging. I think you misread my post. It's an eye opening reality. I never realized people get that bad from addictions. It has opened my eyes. I'm not being judgmental at all.

I'm glad it worked out for ya man. One of my sisters has had constant issues and rehab just did nothing for her. Rehab is a tool but if you aren't aboslutely wanting to change, it's like a hammer without a carpenter ya know? She's been 4 times and still stays plastered. Addiction is a horrible thing.
As for the show, you can kinda tell that a couple of them simply aren't serious about bein there, at least is seems that way to me.
Yeah youre right some are just there for the money they just dont realize they are toying with their lives and the lives of the loved ones around them.
I FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE THAT VH1 ACTUALLY MADE A SHOW REGARDING THIS ISSUE. I PERSONALLY HAVE BEEN THERE AS WELL AND KITE, YOU ARE ABSOLUELY CORRECT...IT IS A TOOL AND SO ARE THE WAYS OF COPING THAT YOU LEARN THROUGH THE PROGRAMS. HONESTLY, IF ONE IS WILLING, IT TRUELY IS THE KEY TO FREEDOM. CEASARIM, I DONT THINK THAT ANGRYOLDMAN WAS BEING JUDGEMENTAL...MORE SHOCKED BY THE REALITY OF THE SITUATION. I DO HAVE TO AGREE THAT MOST LIKELY REHAB IS THE KEY TO ACCEPTANCE FOR MANY OF THE CELEBS, THERE ANSWER TO FORGIVNESS BY THE MASSES. THE BEST WE CAN DO IS KEEP THEM IN OUR PRAYERS AND HOPE THAT THEY ARE THERE FOR THE RIGHT REASONS. KITE AS FOR YOUR SIS, WE ALL DONT GET IT THE FIRST TIME AROUND, MANY OF US DONT FOR SEVERAL TRIES, BUT REALIZING THERE IS A PROBLEM IS THE FIRST STEP, WILLINGNESS CAN TAKE A LONG TIME. NOT THAT ANYONE ASKED FOR IT, BUT MY ADVICE....BE THERE AND SUPPORT THEM IF POSSIBE AND IF YOU PRAY, ITS A POWERFUL TOOL.
PEACE
OK,OK I might be to sensative about the whole issue ,because VH1 does not portray things the way they really are,and it makes the whole proccess seem comical insted of real.I guess my secred is out of the bag now.Angryoldman I guess i might have interpret it wrong ,so my bag.I might be on the rag or somethingI had a hard time expressing my feelings before ,now i do it to much and sometimes without thinking.Agression is one of those side effects from using gear and making snap decisions from to much.....
Watching that show makes you feel like you jus been hit in the head with a shovel. did you see the one with the alchoholic mom,..? who just bummed around the house allday slugging Cepecol ?
Leaders did what others weren't willing to do, now they enjoy the things that others do not.
That stuff is for real.We have cops ,priests ,teachers ,doctors, surgons, nurses ,radio talkshow hosts, and even a nun in the recovery program amongst many others. But majority of people dont talk about it unless they're asked or they slip up like me,and let the cat out of the bag.
I agree, bro. I love that show. They show people with addictions of things that you don't know can become an addiction. I saw an episode where this guy in his 30's was addicted to PS2 games. I mean this dude didn't work or anything. He just sat at home playing video games. Honestly, when I was in LE, I used to work with deputy sheriffs who were like that. Those guys would come to work with their own TV and PS (or sometimes they'll use one of the security monitors) and play a game the entire 8 hours.
Personally, I admire that guy, Dr. Drew. But I think Celebrity Rehab is an embarrassment to the celebrities.
