I didn't say a mexican can not be as skilled as an American, and I'm not going to get into an "i bet my mexican can out work your american" pissin match online. I'm just generalizing from my experience. Hell, I know that Mexicans can make a great crew. I know that you can hire shyt for help out of an American. I could drive you to some resort style, gulf and bay front communities and show you first hand the difference. I can show you crews of Americans that will work circles around your three Mexicans too, but like I said I'm not getting in an online pissin match like that. I'm sure your guys are excellent, top notch employees. Are they legal?

ill tell you what, those cheap imigrants allow me to pay them $10 to mow my lawn, and $50 to clean my house so i can lick my nuts and enjoy myself, and that is alot more important to me than your horescrap patriotism line,lol...you make me laugh...you make all of us laugh as a matter of fact,lol

I run a mine with almost 300 employed and maybe out of 150 18-25 year olds, i got 5-10 that arent cry babies.....the rest complain about everything...come into work hung over...boob about breaks, and getting bad jobs....makes me sick...i dont get that from any of the immigrant workers...and yes they are legal...all have citizenship or greencards.

So your selfish all about me attitude wouldn't be considered the downfall of the american economy and for that matter american society itself? It's people like yourself that think of noone else, are completely self involved, self centered, and think nothing of the repurcussions of their actions that are destroying this nation and the morals it was founded upon.
I might make many people here laugh, but they atleast know I'm a true patriot that deeply cares about the future of our country, and cares about other americans. Too bad you can't say the same thing yourself because doing so would make you hypocritical after making those last few statements!

I know there are a lot of illegals here. But the truth is it's not easy to get a Green card or citizenship here. It's a LONG process. But outside of arguing what the illegal alien situation does to the economy can be argued til we're all blue in the face. Cheap labor as a rule does equal cheap work. But Unions can easily harbor a lazy mentality or mindset also. As much as even an overpaid CEO. Both are capable of not being worth there keep so to speak. This is a generalization based on human nature. But it's a mix also. There are people that are lazy that unions support just as governmental jobs do. But there are also hard workers working next to the same lazies making up for their lack.
Back to the article. It sounds like all illegals are criminals and this is far far from the truth.
At yearend 2006 there were 3,042 black male sentenced prison inmates per 100,000 black males in the United States, compared to 1,261 Hispanic male inmates per 100,000 Hispanic males and 487 white male inmates per 100,000 white males. Criminality is a cultural issue for the most part not a racial issue. The numbers of illegals here that are criminal % wise are no more or less than our own Americans Black or white. You can't label illegals in this way as there are humans with a mix if family oriented hard workers with slackers just as there is with Americans. Humans and human nature culture, thats the real issue here or at least the real issue with the point of the original article of this post.

Well good job for hiring legals. Now, what does that have to do with this thread and why even throw them into the mix? Slip up and hire a crew of illegals that claim to be masters of a trade. Put them on a couple of projects unsupervised and see if my previous generalization doesn't prove common.

That's the same logic as those that say "Well, if we get rid of the illegals that commit murder and other violent crimes, there will still be murder and violent crime." True, but at least we get rid of the worry of the crime being committed by an illegal immigrant. We benefit as a whole.

I got to thinking about that 20 million number. You would think they had a high speed freeway to get here.
I thought this figure was coincidental also. Between 1892 and 1924, the peak years of immigration to the United States, 22 million immigrants entered the country through Ellis Island and the Port of New York.

Since attornerie$ are involved and the thousands it takes to become 'legal' you need money. But it seems most people do not have clarity on what is legal or illegal status. So they just classify a race as illegal especially if they look or talk a certain way.

Yeah, now that's not a good view at all. You can't paint people with that brush. We have British illegal immigrants that speak in Oxford English that are criminals who need deportation just the same. They're just much fewer and farther between.
