Golf is the craziest game ever invented. My last four rounds have gone like this: 82,91,94,73. That's why you will never see me playing on TV, no consistency.
The guys I was playing with are high rollers that play $100 a hole. We play as two man teams but only two of them play the big money and me and another dude play $10 a hole. My partner was down $1300 going to 15. He called for a press from 15 on which if it backfired could have had him losing more than $6k. To make a long story short I birdied 15 and 16, eagled 17, and pared 18 to bring him back to winning $200. Now if that was my money I would have been so scared of losing that much I wouldn't even be able to swing the club much less hit it accurately.
After all that, after saving that cat a couple thousand bucks all I got was a "good game". I guess I can't be mad since if it would have went the other way he wouldnt have gotten any money from me to help pay his debt. He wouldve been in big trouble if I pulled out one of those 94's I shot last week!!!
