Its odd that Im almost at 1K posts at a board where I came in not knowing a single person here. I never was a member of FitnessBoard (we actually used to laugh at it at bb.com, boy were our faces red), but I got the link from Bouncer's signature somewhere, came over and welcomed by seemingly everyone. Now that I have been pushed out of my mod job at AnabolicMinds (I will attach the farewell speech), looks like FitnessGeared is my new home. Pardon the post whoring of articles, Ill be bringing most of them with me, thanks for having me fellas and ladies, its appreciated......

Sorry to hear this you are welcome here! I remember at the old fitnessboard everyone else didnt like us because of our owner everyone assumed the mods were pieces of shit also! We were good people busting our ass andf I felt the same way... even though I didnt own it or put money into it the board was mine and the mods who made it what it was! Then Jeff Summers shut the board down when we had 10's of thousands of members and tried to get people to go to his pay board so I know exaclty how you feel!
As for the questions of an admin position being given or earned well I have a entire new perspective on this after owning my own board! The first admin I had was a great guy and did many things that still make this board what it is, but one day he had problems in his life and left the board and me out to dry costing me hundreds of dollars that I wouldnt have had to spend! Now am very careful even letting a friend be admin it is to risky!
As for what I would do to select an admin well to me the only difference in my board from an admin is that the admin has access and can add features/program the board other than that he has nothing else that is above anyone! Just because it says admin doesnt mean I or any admin here is better than any of the mods! I will only make someone an admin if they are going to do work on the board, other than that even if they have 10k more posts than me and spend 18 hours a day on here I am not making them admin and giving access to my board and control panel because I have had a falling out with people I thought I never would and wont risk it!
Maybe the mods that put the most into or made a board I would put title "admin" or "Senior mod" under there name but never would I give them access!
I am not sure if you can program or what but if you were not going to be a programmer just my call but I would have not added anyone that didnt do that as an admin or give thedm any access to the control panel!
Just my 2 cents sorry to hear about the board and not being able to logon!Comment

I consider this place home too. When I joined there were only about 25- 30 member, and now its jammed packed with more coming in everyday. Some of my good buds here are gonna join pretty soon here. Their into this shit too, bodybuilding, the iron game.
