Dan Fogelberg dies

Dan Fogelberg died Sunday at 56. He had been suffering from prostate cancer. His song Longer Than was my wedding song back in 1990 and Another Old Lang Syne still touches my heart every christmas.

Dear friends,

Dan left us this morning at 6:00am . He fought a brave battle with cancer and died peacefully at home in Maine with his wife Jean at his side. His strength, dignity, and grace in the face of the daunting challenges of this disease were an inspiration to all who knew him.

Good to know he went peacfully at home with family. That seems like it would be a good way to check out.

If ya gotta go, that's the way to do it. I actually dig some of his tunes. Like BD said, I really get into the song Another Old Lang Syne.
