As long as it's focking heavy it doesn't matter to me if they face in or out.

BTW 02 says it's only 25 pound plates but he's lifting them with his johnson.

Gotta be in. Rarely will I train with anyone but when I do, I have to let them know right off the bat. The lip does make it easier to load but it is also a mental thing.

And TMAN... I am that weird guy who likes his plates the same too! I swear some brands are different weight than others even though they both say 45.

They have to face in... and all match. The gym has a bunch of different brand plates, so I always try to find the same ones. Like it makes that big of a difference... lol

They have some plates that are metrics and some that are pounds. If you don't pay attention you'll be adding a dime on one side and 11#'s on the other.

LOL! I am that guy too. I've seen as much as 0.8lbs difference with the 45's, when comparing different brand weights.

I dont know why it matters to me, because I'm the same way they have to be in.But I have a hard time telling someone when they load them for me.What I hate though is while they spot me and try to pep talk to me while I'm doing doing my reps and their spitting on my face .But I think I'll start a thread about that one.

yeah, I'm with ya on that one too. That throws me off when someone works in with me and starts their little "come on, push it,push it...easy weight, easy weight", or some shyt. If anything I loose focus and it messes my set up. It should be an unspoken rule to not say shyt while a set is in progress until or unless you know the person well or of coarse are long time workout partners.

I had a guy spot me once ,and I was doing reps with 315lbs.Then I tore my pec. The guy could'nt get it of me ,he had to run from side to side and take weights off.My pec has never been the same since ,and that was back in 1999.
