I live about 45 minutes from Camden, NJ, which was in the top 5. The difference is, Atlanta has some nice neighborhoods. Camden has 0 nice neighborhoods. When you go to Camden, you enter the city seeing crap, drive through the city seeing crap, and leave the city seeing crap. There isn't 1 nice section. I believe the actual city of Detroit is the same way. I'm not talking suburbs of Detroit, I'm talking the actual city. My sister in law lives in Lansing, and she told me for the Super Bowl, they replaced all the broken windows in the city, took all the homeless people off the streets, and fixed the town up. As soon as the super Bowl was over, and all the tourists left town, they put all the broken windows back, released all the homeless, etc... LOL!
