yeah lying under oath to a grand jury is frowned upon. They should make him pick up the tab, not the tax payers.
If he knew that the stuff he was taking wouldn't show up or test positive, he should have never ever referred to it as AAS. He couldn't be held accountable then. Just stick to the ole clear stuff and white stuff bit. The first time he ever referred to it as any kind of juice is when he messed up...if he even did. Which he must have and that person is talking or he wouldn't be indicted. If he didn't though, I don't see how they can pin it on him.1 up

They are saying that he has new information out against him. Including drug tests that have proven he had AAS in his system at the time of testing. He also faces up to 1 million dollars in fines but they are saying that he will probaly do 3 to 5 years especially if he pleads guilty.

Geeze the government need to be taken down a notch. How can they put a person in jail for such a trivial thing? There are real criminals out there that the same money used to go after him could be used for......but then again it does not make news like this does. But c'mon doesn't anyone in the general public have any sense of right and wrong? **** Marth Stewart was indited for insider trading and she got a slap on the wrist, oh she lied under oath as well! But I guess that is OK because she doesn't take steroids! **** this pisses me off!Comment

i didnt read the article but how can they prove that he knew he was on? Its a lame excuse to say he didnt know what he was on but how can they prove what he thought. i would think unless they have him on tape admitting usage or something similar its all circumstantial?(candidates@google:ron paul )Comment

Im a huge Barry fan.....you know what....who ISNT taking "peformance enhancing drugs' these day? HGH doesnt make your eyes better. I dont care how big or strong you are, theyre not going to make you any more able to hit a 100mph fast ball as if you had never taken a thing. One more thing. Why is BB the poster boy for steroids when people like Shawn Merriman test positive, confess, and then you never hear about it again? I think AS will most definitely make someone more capable of not only connecting with a 100mph pitch but also putting it in the stands. Juice increases bat speed, how fast they come around, as well as the whole increased strength thing.Originally posted by MAK2102 View Post
