Re: SPORT BIKES TARGETED...BANNING SPORT BIKES
horseshyt! Another group in Washington that has to stick their diks where they don't belong. The IIHS will get nowhere with the practices they use for trying to achieve their crooked motorcycle agenda. People and groups like the AMA that have superior knowledge on the subject will keep bullshyt like the IIHS is trying to pull at bay. banning sportbikes...jackasses
By their ignorant inaccurate report, they're calling SS/600cc the most dangerous. They wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a supersport and a superbike if you left the size on them.

Re: SPORT BIKES TARGETED...BANNING SPORT BIKES
Not much of a suprise to me.
What is odd is they are trying to ban guns & sportbikes. The odd part about it is I've found most bike owners tend to own guns. Maybe their trying to ban guns so they don't get shot when they try to take away the rest of our rights. HAHA!
What I love is how they classify a sportbike as more dangerous than a touring bike. Any person with any knowledge of a motor vehicle of any sort knows that a high performance vehicle will outperform in all categories a touring vehicle!
They are built to go really fast, STOP really fast, and have the handling to be able to maneuver at the drop of a dime. With that said it's absolutely ludacris for them to say a sportbike is more dangerous. It's not the bike, it's the driver!
Also I guarantee if they did a true study they'd find that the recent surge in motorcycle death has probably risen at the same rate that cell phone usage has. Why is this important? Because if you pay attention to those around you when you drive, you'll notice every single time you go out, some moron on their cell phone oblivious to the world around them is swerving, slamming on their brakes for no reason, making left turns from the far right etc etc. I bet it's these morons on their cell phones that have brought up the number of bike deaths!
Maybe they should ban the use of them in the car, before they try to ban the bikes!

Re: SPORT BIKES TARGETED...BANNING SPORT BIKES
Also old people down here cause an insane amount of accidents.
How come they don't make them take mandatory tests that monitor depth perception, reaction time, and overall awareness. If you fail those tests, you lose your license. That simple! The tests should be mandatory after 65 years old.
But of course that's not important because 90% of politicians are in that age bracket and wouldn't pass a law that would inconvenience themselves. They'd rather try to ban guns and motorcycles because it doesn't effect them. SCUMBAG POLITICIANS!

Re: SPORT BIKES TARGETED...BANNING SPORT BIKES
oh believe you me, sportbikes aren't going anywhere. Check the death toll from head trauma because of the no helmet laws that some states just passed over the last 5 years or so. You got jackasses on cell phones that are worse than drunk drivers, and squid rider cool guys that have to ride in nothin but a tank top, shorts, and shades. The
"hey look at me ladies, I got a 200mph bike", jackdiks... Take those variables into consideration and I bet you'll see a pattern.

Re: SPORT BIKES TARGETED...BANNING SPORT BIKES
Hey im all for this!
This gonna happen here.
Until last year, an owner of a bike was paying the SAAQ (Societé Assurance Automobile du Quebec, in english the board monitoring drivers) was charging 65$ for two years. Now it went up to 365$ for a year and next year it gonna sky high to 700$
Why, lot of ****ers with sports bike drive like ****ing maniac, and personally I pratically killed three last year on the highway when a tardass pass between my truck and a car at 200mph, practially sending us to shock, but I was going to change ways.
Yes for the 1 ****er out of 5 that think he's god on wheel and must drive like a ****ing retarded putting his life at risk and the one of other, this is what you gonna see, the majority pays for a minority.
then do like the Harley's owners here, when you see a dumbass on a sportbike going nuts, follow him and beat his ass up!
dodododooothree doodoo is back! Hide your women!

My mom rides a Harley. She just got a damn nice '08 Street Glide a couple weeks ago...but anyway, I've been to those bike week events and watched some dumbass Hog riders bust ass and get smashed and ride, the whole nine. They aren't all that responsible either. You got em in all walks. That's all most of them do. Bar hop on bikes. That's genius.
