Ice Bowl this weekend...

I'm so pumped! Considering I had tomiss last years due to the Achilles tear, I can't wait. It's a 7 on 7 tourny with 48 teams. This is our 6th year. We've made the final game once and the semi-finals twice. This year is looking good. We have a dude that plays semi-pro football and was all-conference tight end. He just got invited by the Colorado Crush tocome try out (it's the Arena team). We have another dude that played four years of D-1 football as a tightend and he's 6'4" and 265 lbs. Then there's me 5'10" and 245 but I play one hell of a center because I can get under anyone that pass rushes at my height. There are two more guys about my height and size that are awesome pass rushers. We have 5 guys that run a 4.6 forty and faster. One dude as to be around the 4.3 to 4.4 range. And, he's 6'1" and can slam dunk a basketball like nobody's business. Our only weakness is our QB hasn't had a lot of throwing time with the guys, so we have to work that out. But, as for defense, we should be able to shut down anyone with our speed and big quick dudes to pass rush.

We had our last practice before the tourny and it went great. The dude that played D-1 ball played at Cal, I didn't know that. Anyways, one of the dudes brought out his bro and the kid is like 6'2" or 6'3" and fast with amazing hands. With this group, we should be able to really pound some people. Also, it turns out, the dude that played at Cal has a rocket of an arm. So, we have two legitimate QB's now. Should make for a fun tourny.
