They muted Ron Paul?!!

I was watching Jay Leno tonight to see Ron Paul. When he came on, right in the middle of his speach the emergency broadcast system had a banner that went across the screen and made it so you can't hear what he was saying!

I've never in my 27 years of watching TV have ever seen them interrupt a prime time show like that. I'm curious if other areas did this too?

I'm in the greater Tampa, Fl area. Anyone else who watched this have this happen to them?

Unbelievable! They try to silence freedom! Man does this enrage me!!!!

This now more than ever makes me want to push Ron Paul to everyone I come across. I will make it a point to make him known now! FU gov't!!!!!

he came through in NY..this happned to him a few weeks ago nationally in an interview -but he was interupted by national defense ..only happens to him apparently.

He did well on the show, another articulate and smoothe showing.

REALLY??? So whens the last time in future memory you remember the emergency broadcast system interrupting a prime time show?

That always happens in the middle of the day when people aren't watching tv.

I find it way to coincidental that it happened only when he started talking. To top it off big surprise it came from Jeb Bush's old stomping grounds. No it's to much to believe there could be a connection.

Hmmmm.....Jeb Bush was governor and has ties to FL and this happens. Just like Bush's brother ran securacom who did security for the twin towers that just so happened to clear out the building the weekend before 9/11 then look what happened. I'm sorry but there's way to many coincidences for the Bush's. I think it's far fetched to believe otherwise.

Funny thing is this. I've taken many different IQ tests and surprisingly enough my strongest point was Logic then Mathmatics. I was in the 100th percentile on every single test I've taken with logic. So although I might seem illogical with my thought process sometimes, those tests proved otherwise.

So I've ruled out the possibility that I'm being illogical.

ok...the last time in "future" memory was, Nov. 21, 2008...?? but, in RECENT memory, i have none really, becouse i dont watch much t.v....it just struck me as odd. but, then again, i'm not nearly as skepticle as you are about such things.
and, i'm sure the all mighty and powerful jeb bush was staning there ready to push the button to play that himself....i'm sure his concern runs deep against ron paul.
and, i've heard about your i.q test about 100 times!! i'm sure your one of the sharpest crayons in the box. (althogh, asking me about my FUTURE memories was kinda an illogical question, dont ya think? normally i'm not one to pick on a brainfart like that...i have them all the time. but, from a brain surgion/rocket sceintist, as yourself, i was surprised.)

I'm not much of a political follower nor am I that knowledgeable of Ron Paul. But I will have to agree with DJDIGGLER on one thing. In my 45 years, I only recall the Emergency Broadcast System flashing their test during commercial periods of television broadcast. Never ever during a televised broadcast.

But after reading most of your posts just now, you guys don't know just how lucky you have it. You all heard the test during the Tonight Show? WOW, only once? DAMN. Here in California, we get that bull**** 3 and 4 ****ing times over and over again. Just a couple of nights ago as I was listening to music from the music channel on digital cable, the test came on 4 times in a row. I got so pissed that I simply turned the damn TV off for an hour. And that wasn't the first time because I've noticed that alot here.

Hahaha **** you guys are funny! I guess it was only Florida that had it since it was not a national issue. Almost sounds like something if you are into the guy and he gets interupted per se. What did he speak about last night? Anything important? Jay Leno usually does not go into anything seroius!

I did type "future" meaning past. I was so out of it last night. I was falling asleep waiting for Ron Paul to come on. After I saw that I was running on pure adrenaline. So needless to say I wasn't on my A game at that moment.

As for the jeb bush thing dave don't you find it odd that Fl just happened to screw up not once but TWICE with voting?

Some of the candidates weren't even on the machines when I voted for local elections last year. There was a big deal about it. The second place person was only a percentage point or two behind the front runner. She would have won but multiple reports came in that she wasn't even an option on a bunch of the ballots. Big surprise the guy Jeb Bush endorsed won!

Also Jeb Bush toyed with his brothers bids for the presidency. I don't find it to far fetched that he ensures that the right people do anything they can to interfere with Ron Paul's message.

The guy wants to abolish the IRS. Of course some people are trying to stop him!!
