If you are having trouble staying logged in when navigating between forums/topics/etc., you need to reset your session cookie. Go into your browser and delete any cookie for the site them log back in. This should fix the login issue.
Fleas are on the increase due to the dry conditions lately. Even though the temp dropped the dry conditions make it ideal for hatching eggs. Spray your lawn with Permethrin and add a little Dawn dish liquid to sprayer. 5-7 days later spray it again. I hate phukin fleas. We had a war with em a couple years ago. We treated the interior of our home, the yard and had our dog dipped. It took care of em but the vet told us if we don't treat everthing they'll just keep coming back.
Have you tried any of the new flea control like Frontline or Revolution on them? I know it won't get all of the fleas in your yard, but at least it might give your pets some relief.
I keep my cats indoors, so they don't have any. At least I haven't seen any on them.
