with my propane company. they gave me a bill at the end of the winter (may 07) for 512$...the bill was made out to my nieghbor, then scratched out with my info written in. i decided that it wasnt mine. i've never had a fill in may before, and last winter was kinda mild. i've been going around with them in june/july. i thaught it was all cleared up, but guess not, lol. they came yesturday and yanked my tank!!! i had enough hot water in the heater for 1 good shower.....the wife got that! i got the cold one, lol. gonna be one of those days!!!

Damn bor, that sucks big time! Go with the new company and tell them to fuk off. I had the electric meter reader idiot read my meter wrong and when I called to ***** they said 'you have to pay it and it will balance out next time.' So, I did, and the jackass read it wrong again so I took a damn picture of the meter and went down there and got a little loud. The manager came out and fixed it. The jackass got put on another route because it's been a different guy ever since. And, no problems. The problem with propane is, if the driver says he filler your tank, there should be a signature on the manifest. That's what they will need to get you to pay. So, fuk 'em!
As for the prices, try living in Colorado at 6,600 feet above sea level. We used to go months with the heat on all damn day. Well, I've added a couple feet of insulation to the attic, replaced all the windows to new double pane vinyl ones and replaced our exterior doors. But, it still doesn't help enough. I'm strongly considering a fireplace or wood burning stove. Something that I can fuel with a litt sweet investment (choping wood) and then not have to pay anymore. I would probably get it going in the morning and late night to cut down on electric bills.I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.
