We usually have breakouts of Red Tide in the bay or even the Gulf. Kills the fish....and when youre on the beach it makes your eyes itch, nose run...basically the beginnings of an upper respiratory infection.Comment

Warm lake water? What's that? LOL All our lake water is snow run off water, so it's cold year round. Even in the summer, it's still in the 50's.I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.

Damn. I know this girl that got some sort of serious bacterial infection when she was three from swimming in a hotel pool. She wound up bleeding from the eyes, ears, nose, etc... and lost a few fingers and both legs wound up having to be amputated. Scary stuff.Comment
