1. Invest some into starting my own business rather than work for some other shmuck that knows less than me.
2. Invest 10g's into high risk, high yield stocks & bonds, and 10g's into low risk stocks & bonds.
3. Invest 20g's into retirement.
4. Put a significant down payment on a new car so the payment is lower than my current one, but the car will be newer and what I want.
5. Take a cruise.
6. Use some for a down payment on rental units.
7. Bank the rest until I saw what results my other choices yielded. -

Well, if Ilost my job I would put it all in the bank until I found a replacement job. Then, once that was done, I would go down to this town called Pueblo and do some fix and flips. There are two areas where you can buy turn of the century homes in the $30's and $40's. Fixed up, they go in the $80's. So, I would probably pick up two of them, fix them up really nice from bottom to top and then sell for profit. Then, I would due two more and I would keep goinguntil I could do 4 at a time. That would be my goal, flip four at a time with a minimum profit of $10k on each one. I would take the profit from doing the fix and flips and pay off my debt (cars, credit cards, houses, etc) until I had zero debt. Then, once I had zero debt, I would try to save 50% of my income in different portfolios so I could retire by 55.
That's what I would do.I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.

house flipping is the best idea imo. although we're in a bad market now, its a buyers market, not sellers. can't go wrong with real estate in the long runComment

I would purchase a piece of property, build an ICF house, install a photo voltaic solar electric array, tell my mortgage company to **** themselves and then tell the electric company to go **** themselves too!Comment
