Exactly! I hope the dude makes a full recovery, he's an awesome actor IMO. Look at movies he did with Jackie Chan, or Enemy Behind the Lines, I could go on. This is what sucks about the Hollywood lifestyle, no matter how much money they have, most of them seem to have issues because their life is void of something bigger and better. I'm not going to get all spiritual on you guys but money is uselss without a good spirit. Fame is useless without a good spirit. It sucks that this man's spirit is so broken they he didn't want to live any more. I really hope he comes around and that the media doesn't push this in his face all the time.

Ditto, but you know the media will bring it up every chance they get. That's what vultures do.

well it appears this is all over a cocaine and heroine addiction, nothing to do with kate hudson. he's been hanging out with a bad crowd. Nothing to laugh about when it comes to addiction. I still don't like the guy, but will take the harsh comments back.

The only movie I've enjoyed with him in it is Wedding Crashers. Behind enemy lines was garbage, i walked out of the theater, snuck in to see something else.

I love ya Davie . But isn't that what addiction is? Someones cry out because they're unhappy with life, marriage, situations, whatever? Drugs are their escape from reality. Addicition starts somewhere. I don't think many people say "HEY, Heroin looks fun! I'm gonna try it!!" Usually it's "My life sucks. I'm just gonna get wasted." Which, IMO, is someone saying, ehem, and I quote, ""fuk anyone who love's me!! fuk my family, fuk my friends, fuk you all, i dont give a shyt how this will affect your life, i dont give a shyt about you!!!"
          Just a thought playa.

all aside...I like him as an actor and I wish him the very best. He was pretty cool in you, me and dupre

Now see, I feel the EXACT opposite! And I know you're stating your opinion, and I'm cool with that. But my opinion is, addiction is a pu**y way out. Addiction is for feeble minded. To be so addicted to something that you worship it and need it? I don't understand addiction at all.

See, I think you and I have the opposite movie likes bro, I hated Wedding Crashers. I thought there were some funny parts but over all, I didn't like it. I did like Behind Enemy Lines though. Heck, I just watched it again the other night. Maybe you should see it all the way through so you can get to the best parts. Sometimes we just need to see a movie more than once to like it. Or, maybe it's just not a movie you like, if so I can't convince you otherwise. There have been dozens of movies that people raved about that I did not like, so to each his own I guess. To give you another example, I watched 300 recently and did not like it. I thought is sucked to be honest. For all the hype and based on the documentaries I've seen on it, it was off and the fight scenes weren't as good as I expected. I think if Mel Gibson or the guy who directed Saving Private Ryan had a shot at it, it would have been better. But, my point it, I have yet to hear anyone say the same. You just can't like what you don't like. lol That's my phylosophy lesson for the day.

No, you don't understand addiction. It's a physical dependence. People will go into shock without the drug or the alcohol, it's an aweful thing. Now, with that said, I will say I agree with you on the mindset thing. Absolutely, a person needs to be strong minded enough to not let themselves do something that could be addictive. But, it's a fact that some drugs can become physically addictive on the first use. It becomes something their body MUST have. At this point, it's no longer a mind over matter thing, it's a physical dependency. Look at babies born to crack addict mothers, they spend weeks in the hospital getting drugs to ween the baby off the addiction so it doesn't die from shock. Drug addiction is a very serious thing. Now, back to my agreeing with you, a person who 'needs' drugs or alcohol to 'be their self' or to 'be more comfortable' is someone who suffers from something else. I think that is feeble minded. The fact is, alcohol and drugs don't let you become yourself, they let you become someone else. A strong minded person will be themself any where at any time. But, the person who says 'I need a couple drinks to loosen up' is just kidding themselves. The truth is, their self is insecure and scared to be who they are so they use alcohol and drugs to become the person they are not when they are sober. I know, I've been there. I've seen it in my freinds who did that stuff with me, when we were sober we were totally different but when we were partying we were the lives of the party. So, I had to grow up mentally to become a person who can be me sober. I can be that fun confident guy sober, but it took time. Most people would admit, after a few drinks they do lower their walls and let loose, but the few are the ones that can do it sober.

                    That's my opinion on it.

                      T-Man. I'm a book. I'm open to page 311. Read me baby!
I understand "Addiction". 4 years of psychology, I understand addiction. I understand the bodies physical dependency and the cell and molecular changes to adapt with dependency.
What I DON'T understand is someone allows themself to get dependent.
