OMG...i'd be a nervous wreck...I couldnt let a 5&6 yr old walk to school....especially girls. I believe they should stick together, one cant go without the other and they must have their cell phones.

I'm right there with you. My daugher has had a cell phone for a while now. We can certainly afford it and that bad boy has a tracking device on it so it was a no brainer to me. Now I can get in touch with her whenever I need to. And if she doesn't answer...she gets dealt wif!!!

i'm the same way with the home phone!! she's 11...she dont need to be going anywhere. the phone can go outside when she wants to go on the tramp, but it better be answered when i call!

i got 2 daughters and they can buy their own cell phone...i grew up just fine without one...i was about 20 when i got my first, so i am sure they will live without one until they can buy their own and pay the bill...
