Yeah, my great grandma was "full blooded" Cherokee and my aunt did all the genealogy work to get her descendants cards. Cherokee's don't give out cards anymore except to the offspring of current card holders. So I receive benefits because of ethnic discrimination justified by my ancestors "land" being "taken". Despite the fact American Indians were uncivilized and their ownership of land was undocumented because they just claimed it all - even if they weren't using it.

Sorry, I did kind of rattle on. But yeah, the jist of my post was government creates more problems - so get it out of industry.

me too...my dad's grandpa was full blooded...all i got was some fukin camp when i was a kid, to teach us about our heritage!!! (it was a fukin child labor camp!!! give me a break! we had to built tp's and blankets and shyt!!! they worked our asz off, lol)...i tend to lean the other way...yea, the indians didnt have documentation, but just because YOU document it, does not make it yours!!! they new who owned what! but thats a diff. discusion...(cherokee huh...you know from what area...kentucky?) and your rattling on is fine. i usually can filter through it and come away with your meaning...that was a bad morning for me, lol. i lie somewhere in the middle...maybe less government, but i cant see how you could do away with it all...

            Oklahoma!

I don't want to do away with all government - just get it out of the economy and morality. Let it defend citizens rights and that is it.

^ same here ..Seems like you basically want what our country was set out to be by our founding fathers ( constitutional republic)..Most think that we are living in a democracy or republic but its really more fascist then anything imo.

Republicans and conservatives were supposed to uphold the limited govt/spending mindset but they became as bad if not worse then democrats and their big govt ideals..Dems and Reps are the same in that aspect, just have different societal views which shouldnt even be an issue with govt..Its rediculous that these issues such as religion and birth rights are even being discussed by politicians these days, the founding fathers would be appaled. Views such as these are individual rights issues and decisions that should be judged on a state level..Our federal govt is way too powerfull..It seems harsh to compare America to **** Germany, but if you compare the two gov'ts you can see many many similarities and theyll get even more similar soon..I recently read the communist manifesto again and the U.S is pretty much examplified in it.
