I hope to raise my kids with a heavy hand and give them the proper tools that they need to be successful. I expect them to call people sir or ma'am as I do. When in trouble I dont expect them to talk back I am their father and expect to be treated like one, Not a friend but a father. If they act out they will be punished. I expect them to get good grades other wise they need to spend more time with their studies.

That's cool, Ctrl!!! I had a teacher who expected us to call him sir but he did the same for us and I did respect him for that. I don't think it is good for a kid to believe age gives automatic authority.
