i know that's a popular saying...but, i'm thinking my man JC and his pop's would be o.k. with me NOT forgiving....we kinda got it like that...
so, i'd not forgive...but after watching a movie last night that kinda goes along this theme (he got game)...what if it was another CLOSE family member that did the murdering of another CLOSE family member....could you forgive now?

I really don't know. I don't think I could ever truely get over it and certainly not forget it, but I just don't if I could really forgive someone for that.

Along the same lines, could you forgive a family member for committing suicide?

I would have to. I couldn't allow myself to let the person that killed my relative to continually effect me in a negative way. I mean they already killed a relative why let them make me into a bitter person that carries around all that forever.

Now if someone raped and killed my daughter like Jessica Lunsford....they would have to have me handcuffed in the court room as well. Any chance I got I would try to rip that dudes head off with my bare hands. Her father sat there in court and listened to everything that was done to his 12 year old daughter by that molester. They told him he didn't have to sit through that part of the trial but his words were, "I wasn't there for her when she really needed me so I will never leave her again". That had to be tough.

you need to be more specific. if it was a complete freak accident and they killed a loved one, and they truly were sorry for what they did, then you'd have to.

actually, your right...i didnt think of it, i was assuming it was a murder type situation. a broad driving drunk killed my brother when i was 10...i was crushed. it fuked up ALOT of years, but i forgave her (she died too)...i was more pissed at god than anything...but we got that shyt all straight too...we're good

You know you have an excellent point. Unless I go through it there is no telling what I would do. It is just impossible to make yourself feel those feelings or put yourself in that situation unless it happens.

I think I would be more inclined to be mad at god as to why he would let something like that happen.
