You guys are a'holes! I seriously don't even know why I bother posting anything anymore.
Not everyone grew up in a farm, or in the ghetto. Many of us grew up in the suburbs and it was a place to go when you were a teen. The problem is most of you responding are too old to have gone to the mall, because it wasn't popular in your generation. So you feel that because it wasn't important in your generation, then it's not important.
I remember hanging out at the mall when i was in Jr. High...that's what we all did....although now a days I think teenagers are more immature for some reason...must be all those video games LOL

Ah, so we're assholes for not sharing your ****in views of where teens should hang out? What kinda dumb ass **** is that? I don't give a **** where you're from the "place to be" in a teenager's eyes isn't necassarily the best place to be. Do you follow me here? I don't give a rat's ass where "the place to be" is, when my kids get to that age, I won't be using a retail establishment to babysit them. This is exactly why I usually avoid your threads about this type of ****. If someone has views other than yours, you cannot discuss or debate with any sense of maturity, rather you resort to name calling and claiming everyone but you is the dark. I know you're very passionate about these discussions but if you can't discuss/debate in a civil manner then how bout shuttin the **** up?

Sorry kite last time I checked when I was 15 I didn't need someone to babysit me. Actually on the contrary most kids at 15 and usually younger are the ones that babysit younger kids.
People don't give credit for teenagers. Sure they're immature, and do stupid things sometimes but that's part of the learning process. I don't see why their money should be any different than anyone elses?!
I used to go shopping all the time as a teen to buy stuff, hang out, and most importantly pick up girls.
Where do you think kids should be going if they can't go to the mall or any business establishment? Maybe go to an amusement park.....oh wait that's a place of business they shouldn't have to babysit......hmmmm, maybe an arcade? Damn again they would need to be babysat!
Ummmmmm, maybe they can go to the library and study all day, then when their done they can do chores and say their prayers like all good little teenagers should do!
kids are going to the mall now because its the hangout. girls are checking out the guys and viceversa. checking out clothes to buy, and some are even ripping **** off. i can see that, which no one here has mentioned. business don't want drama started from these little kids and don't want **** to be stolen.... everyone keeps saying its "to babysit" them and its the parents fault. no, its a place for 15 year old kids to go hang out w/ there friends. they can have a good time, spend or not spend money and stay out of trouble. what else should a 15 year old do? stay home and not be social? go to a "friends" house and end up getting pregnant or doing drugs. all of us were 14-15 years old. you cant tell me your parents knew exactly what you were doing and your parents had a hold on your behavior. i personally think its bs just like djdiggler but we're not using this excuse like you other guys are. it perfectly legal for them to do it, but like a lot of laws, its one a lot of people dont agree with. thats the good old USA for you
Good point but an equal amount of adults steal and actually I am willing to bet you statistically adults steal more than children.
But you do make a good point. That's why the troublemakers when caught should be ejected for good. In the malls I grew up in three strikes you were out for good if you caused mischeif, and 1 strike if you vandalized or stole anything. I thought the rules were fair, and if you abided by the rules you were able to enjoy the same priveleges as everyone else. That's what equality is about.

i like that ideal!!! lol...
i said that i dont believe that i would do that if it were my biz. i agree, kids have $ to spend. but i also dont know the cirrcumstances and wether they were chasing off older clientel or not...
we got a mall up here. big one. basicly closed. ghost town (i'd be happy to pm ya a link about it dj if you want)...this mall was the shyt in the day...but. the older paying customers bailed on it...when we moved here 5-6 yrs ago, it was already on the way down...had maybe 75 stores in it..over 3/4th of it was closed and bolcked off....slowly but shurly the other stores closed. it's empty now...2 stores left. macey's and kohl's. both have announced that they will be leaving before chritmas...you know why it went under...i'm sure you know where this is going. kids. punk kids took it over...maybe they are trying to stop that from happening...alot of folks lost their jobs bro...but, maybe thats not as big of a deal as kids having a place to "hang out"...i'm not saying all kids are like that, but you dont know if THOSE kids were like that! niether do i...yep, sucks that ALL kids may have had to pay for the bad ones...thats the way it goes

Like you said, maybe I'm just too old to understand the intracricies of todays youth. Perhaps I should remove my blinders and open myself to the light that the good ole DJ has been trying to illuminate us with for some time now.
As expected you don't get it.
I DONT KNOW WHERE YOU ALL LIVE, BUT HERE IN UTAH, ALMOST ANY BUSINESS LIKE A RESTRAUNT, OR STORE HAS A LITTLE SIGN POSTED THAT SAYS..."WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE...FOR ANY REASON"...UNCONSTITUTIONAL...GIVE ME A FRIGGIN BREAK DJ...
BTW...you ever see these little emo(sp) creeps hanging out in the mall...i drag my 8-10 year old daughters to the mall to shop, and these little creeps cuss worse than any sailor i ever heard...dont care about little kids...or old ladies....they dont spend any money.....oh, yeah..i choke slamed one into a pillar for cussing like that in front of my grandma and kids...the security gaurd thanked me....lol...
Funny because other people on this thread agreed with me, but you ingnore their statements as if they weren't made. You guys love to maintain your facade of control over a topic or thread by singling out one person and debating with only them.
How about you guys that love to follow me from topic to topic specifically to engage me in debate, also have the common courtesy to acknowledge other peoples statements that are in line with my views? Or is it I'm too much for you guys to handle so it takes all of you put together just to try and hold me down. The thought of having others to debate with as well might explode your brains so you need to act as if their comments weren't made!
