Kind of like america claims a war against everything?
A war against drugs, a war against poverty, the war on terror. All of those things are wars that can't be won. There will always be drugs, there will always be poverty, and there will always be terrorists.
What's with our country starting wars that it can't win?
I just started reading the book '1984' today and I can't put it down. There is so many similiarities to today's society, and the way our government is run it's uncanny! Quite unbelievable the book was written in 1949 and is this dead on.

i read that years ago! (i think it was IN 84 that i read that, lol) i dont even remember half of it, but if i remember right, it had alot of "big brother" watching you type of stuff. also, i think there was a movie i watched about it around 84...i was into that kind of stuff then.

Yeah It's a great book. I highly advise you to take a gander at it again when you get free time. It's amazing the similarities to today's society, and in which direction we are heading.
