What is everyone's thoughts on this?

I think it's garbage, and that the supreme court made a good decision. I don't think it's fair that people get placed in a better school because of the color of their skin.

I'm sick of people saying they shouldn't be treated different because of the color of their skin, but they expect to get special treatment because of their skin. It's the common hypocritical statement of the majority of minorities in this country and I'm glad someone finally put their foot down!

Why should my son have to get sent to a low class, crap school full of a bunch of inner city kids, and get inferior education because of the color of his skin? Just cause he's white he has less rights?

If I bust my azz and succeed in life to ensure my kid grows up in a good area and has a good education, how is it fair some other parent that decided to do nothing with their lives, and lives in the ghetto gets to let their kid take my kids place because of their skin color? (not that he's old enough to go yet, but I'm saying hypothetically)

It's not equality these people want, if it was they wouldn't expect getting special treatment. The only thing they want is retribution for things they never even went through, and they want the upper hand. Until they stop this mindset, racism will live on and will retrogress.

Good post bro! And you are right, how can you have equality with minorites when they intentionally seperate themselves. For example, the Black Movies Awards, The United Negor College Fund, The African American Chamber of Commerce and the list goes on and on and on. How in the world can anyone who thinks these intentional seperations are going to form any type of unity? It can't! It's impossible. It's like the rich saying I don't mind the poor, just don't let them in our country clubs and what have you. If you don't mind them, then why must you seperate yourself from them? We have two artsy fartsy golf courses here. One has a membership of $40,000 and the other is just under $30,000 but they 'welcome' anyone. What a load of carp! If 'anyone' is welcome, why is the membership so high? Simple, they are a group of eliteists, plain and simple. We also have the same with neighborhoods too. The developer will develope the land and state right in the Association Rules that your house must be no less than 7,000 SF and it must be built by an 'approved' builder. In other words, you buy this public land and yet someone else tells you what kind of house you can and can't have. I HATE eliteists, hate 'em! They are no better than racists and bigots. It makes me wish I was a multi millionaire so I could buy my family a lot and ALL of my friends a lot and then get all my friends to vote me into the HOA so I could turn it upside down.

I did an appraisal on a house once where the husband died, that's right, he was taking from this earth and the wife could not afford the house so she sold it for $950k. The neighbors wrote her nasty letters and told her she should be ashamed of herself for bringing down their values. By the way, the home was worth just over a million. Can you believe that crap? Can you believe that someone would be so absorbed by money that they can't even comprehend the situation a widow is going thru? All they cared about was their home values. These people are what creates the road to Hell IMO. There are what is wrong with society. They care about nothing but themselves and people whom that can use to prosper from. They have no 'real' friends. They are sad pathetic people with no souls, that's what they are.

Definitely didn't go off to deep. It's good that people are passionate about this subject! I 1000% agree with you T!

Equality is equality. It doesn't mean one is better, or one gets more, or one deserves more. It means everyone gets the same treatment, the same rights, the same priveleges. Equality means everyone is let into college based on their grades and extra curricular activities, not by the color of their skin.

It reminds me of how some colleges give points towards being accepted for being a minority. That is racism, it is racially biasing against white males. I don't even get how that is legal, or even constitutional!

Until everyone expects the same treatment, there will always be racism, bigotry, and hate! But there are to many self centered, self involved, selfish people out there to see that.

I agree with Tman & Diggler! It's always pissed me off that there are organizations, groups and magazines strictly for blacks or hispanics (or any other group) and they aren't viewed as racists. But if there was a white organization it would be wrong. How 'bout we start the United Caucasian College Fund and see what these other so called minorities say!! Or how about a magazine called "Ivory" all about white people.

Excellent posts all around! I couldnt' agree more. However you guys may not be aware of this but where I live it's still pretty jacked up as far as schools go. Down here, they still have different prom and homecoming dances, one black and one white. Pretty stupid huh? It isn't policy or anything, it's just the way it's been for so long. Some students have started goin to the "other' dances so maybe it's on it's way out but for it be like that for so long is fukked.

I love how black people think the white man owes them for the slavery their ancestors faced...........But they quickly forget it was the white man who fought side by side in the Civil War for their freedom. I think the many white men that gave their lives for that cause was enough of a repayment!

Sure I do. My wife is part Iroquios indian and I have some indian somewhere in my blood line according to my grandparents. I think the indians got screwed. But that has nothing to do with african americans and their whining about unequalities and slavery they didn't even endure that they expect repayment for.

The only people that should get certain freedoms is Indians specifically because we stole their land from them. They were never repayed. Black people on the other hand were put through slavery which in turn thousands of white men gave up their lives fighting for their freedom, that should've been enough of a repayment. I'll tell you this, if white men new how ungreatful these people are today, they would have left them to be slaves. Why fight for someone that isn't going to appreciate what you do for them.
