honestly bro...tuff question. dont we all just want them to be happy. you hear it all the time, but it's true. a doctor, a lawyer whatever will give them the op. to have what i didnt have and what i couldnt give them.

ALL i really wish for is my boys do there very best and shoot for all there goals in life and to never sell them selfs short by thinking they can only go so far...both of them are very smart and can do what ever they set there minds to

Honestly I would love more than anything for my son to be a professional golfer....my daughter too for that matter but she hates golf. I hope that they are both grounded which is completely on my wife and I to ensure that happens. But most importantly I would like for them to honor God in EVERYTHING they do.

I would actually love to see my son play some kind of professional sport. But, as long as he is ethical, honest and helps others I just want him to be happy. If he's happy, I will be happy. Now, if you ask him what he wants to do he will tell you fly a jet, fly the shuttle and then fly helicopters in that order. He is fascinated with flying and those are obtainable goals. He is very smart too for 4 years old. He was trying to build a monster truck with his Legos and he couldn't get the wheels to stay on when he pushed it so he added bigger blocks to where the wheel parts attached and then expalined it to me like this (I swear on my life this is what he said) "See my monster truck dad, well the wheels kept coming off so I took off the little blocks and put bigger ones on so it would have more stability." I kid you not, a four year old explaining to me that he had to increase the 'stability' of his wheels so they would stay on.

I agree with everyone else. Whatever my kids decide to do, I will be proud of them and support them either way. My father once told me, "The world needs everyone. Ditch diggers, tampon box makers, accountants, and doctors. Whatever you decide to do, just be the best at it." Those words stuck with me for about 20 years!!

One one hand I'd like for them to run the nursing home when I retire, they would be the third generation to run it. On the other hand, I don't want them to deal with it ya know? The gov't is getting tighter and tighter, the lawyers catering to the deadbeats who want somethin for nothin are killin the industry and so on. I don't really know what I want from them aside from happiness and not to sell out.

thats how i feel about my proffesion...i'm 3rd generation...the neices and nephews are getting into it now (poor kids)...on one hand, i would be very proud for them to carry on....on the other, it's way too hard right now, and i couldnt stand to watch them go through the struggle! i do think my daughter is a natural. and, it may be something out of my hands
