    I'm almost ashamed to admit this but, I did the same thing when I was 16. I was stripping a wire while installing an amplifier for my car. But, I hit myself IN THE EYE. Man, my eye turned blood red on one side for a few weeks. That sucked and it felt really weird when it happened.

      Tech school isn't enough - it takes practice IN THE FIELD to successfully work with electricity. This advice comes from a LICENSED electrician (ME) who has many years of practice, training and experience.

      At least you (hopefully) remembered to turn off the power first....
