I did corrections, that unspecified medical condition has got to be the biggest crock of BS I've ever heard, and I did hospital duty too when I worked there. If someone was sick or injured, me and another officer would escort the inmate to the hospital, and it would be up to the hospital when the inmate would be able to return to their cell. There is no in-house doctor. If she was contagious, which again this excuse is a big phony lie, she would be put in a single cell by herself, not FREE TO GO!! damn it's all about the money these days, thats it, F them Hiltons.
