emotional break-up with your significant other ? I'm talking about a girlfriend/boyfriend - husband/wife thing ? What was the reason(s) the relationship ended and how did you deal with it. Main thing is - how did you cope with being left by your partner - while you still love them - and would die for them - but they don't feel the same away from you...just wanna see your thoughts on this.

I feel the same....the only way to forget one is to get another one. I believe you'll love many ppl in your life and learn many things about each situation....maybe not right then but in time you will.

Re: how many of you have gone through severe
I had a hard time when I was younger and I would have problems with my temper, etc. Good thing I was in my current lifestyle because the roid rage thing would have been blamed for all of it. But I digress.
Getting involved with another piece is hard especially if the person is still in love with the one that left.
For myself I just turn a bit cold now. After the first serious girlfriend and I split I decided not to let it get me emotionally down. If she doesn't want to be with me then that's her choice. I'm still the same person and unless I've done something horrendously wrong I still feel good about who I am.
I can't let myself be emotionally brought down by the decisions or actions of others anymore. Even when my first wife and I divorced I could not let it get to me in such a way. After getting severely hurt emotionally once I think a lot of people just don't let themselves open to such a degree ever again.
I know I won't.

I think I had the love is blind thing happen with both my first serious girl and my first wife. I heard the warnings and everything but I just didn't see it.
I got really lucky with the woman I'm with now - evenif I still keep myself protected to some degree.
