  • BASAL CELL CARCINOMA

THE MOST COMMON SKIN CANCER. 4 WEEKS AGO MY WIFE SAW SOMETHING ON MY BACK WELL I BLEW IT OFF UNTIL SHE WAS ON MY **** EVERYDAY TO GET IT CHECKED. WELL TODAY ITS BASAL CELL.THEY CUT IT OFF MY BACK AND HAD IT TESTED. WELL THEY WILL CUT IT ALL OUT AND STICH IT UP AND GIVE ME SOME MEDICINE FOR IT. MY SKIN DOC SAID YOU GET THIS WHEN YOUR YOUNG AND THEN IT SOMETIMES APPEARS 20-30 EVEN 40YRS LATER.ITS VERY CURABLE. BUT SUN SCREEN IS A MUST NOW FOR ME. I WAS A BIG TANNING BED GUY ALL MY LIFE.SO SUN SCREEN FOR EVERYONE.

    Re: BASAL CELL CARCINOMA

Good post bro! I went to the tanning bed before we went to FL and when I got to FL, I put on SPF 15. Tanning beds don't have the rays that cause cancer so they aren't so bad, but they do have other possible issues. I've read that if you get just one really bad burn from the sun it could become skin cancer later in life. I've been burned many times in my life so it's just a matter of time for me I'm sure.
I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.

        Re: BASAL CELL CARCINOMA

I got ONE horrible burn as a young kid. I fell asleep on a boat and woke up after being in the sun for 5-6 hours. It took a whole week to feel better from sun damage (poison) ..My arm s swelled up and it was nasty...There fine now but I have a few spots I have to watch even though I am dark skinned. I am a sick dude though, I like to peel the skin...lol

Glad it didn't turn out to be serious man. I've never been burnt bad, I've gotten like one or two sunburns in my entire life, I just get dark like a Mexican, lol!

This is a good reminder for everybody to schedule an annual appointment with a dermatiologist to be checked.

Trust me, skin cancer is nothing to mess with.

Fuzo, it's a good thing you listened to your wife on this one.
