Bros- you all know I love Japan but the beer here sux... seriously can`t get excited about drinking it at all. Plus you only find Japanese beer at the supermarket. Not like the states at all where you`ve got good selection.

Anyway, I special ordered some Henery Weinhards, Anchor Steam and others from a liquor store. Got here today... Damn, that stuff tastes like home.

You dudes are lucky, all the good beer you can handle, at a resonable price. So from me to you party responcibily and don`t forget that you got it pretty good in the good `ol US of A.

I'm not much of a beer guy but you are right, there are a lot of good beers here. Especially in Colorado. The local micro breweries are getting so good that you can go into National restaurants like PF Changs, Old Chicago, The Cheesecake Factory and there are literally a dozen or more local micro brewers on the menu. I've actually become a big fan of the wheat beers, I don't know what it is, but I like that better than the typical Bud or Miller. But, like I said, I'm not a big beer guy but I do know what my taste buds like and what they don't like. When I do have a beer, I go for the wheat beers and the pale ales and those are good to me. Like Sam Adams White Ale, that's a good beer to me. I've never liked Bud at all, I just can't drink that stuff, but someone else with different taste buds may love it so what do I know. I guess beer is becoming like wine, there are some Cabs that I hate because they are too dry and some people love a really dry wine, so to each his own I guess. But, one thing is for sure, I'm glad you got hooked up bro. I've had Sapporo (sp) and a couple other Japanese beers in the past and I did not like them at all, but I do like Soki (sp). That stuff has a very unique taste and goes down real nice with some chicken and rice dish. And that stuff is everywhere around you. But, i guess you have to like it and the fact it's better warm makes it more of a dinner drink than something like cold beer which is good to most people all the time.

yeah, I've tried some Saporro, I believe that's Japanese beer, and it sucked royal ass! It was cool havin a huge can with a handle but that's where the coolness ended.

actually Japan has some kickass microbrew, if interested I can indicate you a few, they are big on Barley Wine, US and British styles so mainly Ales with some hints of german styles.

Back down there budy... Ain`t trying to knock european beer. I actually love the Czech beer Pilser Urquell. Don`t　knock all American beer, it`s not all bud and coors.
