Caught a virus and everything erased.

    Caught a virus and everything erased.

    This is what happed. A few months ago my computer got a virus and I had to restore everything. Well all my files and music erased, and Microsoft also erased.

    I was wondering if I can download programs like WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT. I really need those programs cause I need to type alot of homeworks and all.

    Is this possible.

    Software theft packs a hefty penalty.

    Downloading the SW is possible, but not legal.

    I don't think it'd work for office XP, but probably office 2000. You'd also need a key generator.

    Legally, your computer was supposed to come with these disks....

        not necessarily come with the computer, but legally you are supposed to buy them.

        Legally you aren't supposed to do roids, legally you aren't supposed to speed, etc...

        use your own judgement bro

          My computer didnt come with any disks, except the recover ones. I know its illegal to just get them with out a license, but I heard from some people that you can download it or something.

              If you're familiar with downloading copyrighted software as well as hacking the security of these softwares, then go ahead.

              For the average joe surfing the net, you're not going to be able to just download word and istall it.
