My sound on one of my computers is out, it wont play sound on videos on youtube and stuff like that, but windows media player works

Sounds like you need to reinstall the driver for the sound card. Sometimes web sites will upgrade their programs and you need to upgrade your drivers to keep up. It's a simple online thing. Just go to the companies website and look for your sound card and download the latest driver.I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.

that happened to me before!!! i baught a new computer and gave the old one to a friend. he plugged the speakers in and they were fine
...ofcourse, that was back when i had more dollars than sence!
