im done with muscle cars. That was clean but you dont want a clone. See tons of dudes that pics up Grand Nationals and put GNX badges on it. better off going with matching #'s from an original to retain value.

I had a 71 Buick Skylark that I dropped about 10k into and got around 4.5 back when i sold it.

only diff is the malibu didnt have the ss pack..for a cruiser i wouldnt worry, but for a collector item, it wont ever be worth much...18k is way too high imo..if it was a # matching ss it would go around 18-20

if it was a matching # ss it would go for around 50-70k if it was in that condition. Look on ebay.

frame off resto BB cars are going for over $50,000. i saw a 6 banger 67 going for $24000 in fair condition

i think $18K isnt bad at all. remember you are buying a cruiser and not an investment. he has $15K in the motor and trans. if the car is immaculate and i had the $ i would buy it

look in the vintage classifieds. it will give you a good idea

I think if you want it because you will love it and enjoy it then cool, buy it but if it is an investment thing I wouldnt try it with a clone. Bottom line is will it make you happy. It looks nice and seems like they did a decent job with everything.
