It was tom hanks and meg ryan...he was a miserable SOB, who had no life, he was offered a life of luxory for a week, and in return, he had to toss himself into a volcano, to appease the gods...its movies like this that make me wonder who was smoking, sniffing or shooting what when they were writtenComment

I saw the ring tonight w/ this new girl I'm seeing. We were both really hyped b/c we heard it was really scary, and both thought it sucked pretty badly. I wouldn't say it was the worst movie I've ever seen though, but why did everyone like it so much? Damn the hype machine and the let downs that it creates.

They'd rather sit in front of the TV and let that tell them what they are suppose to like, what they're suppose to buy, and what they're suppose to laugh at. You have Beavis and Butthead telling you what music you're allowed to like and not like, and you've got sitcoms that have canned laughter that lets you know when to laugh if you're too stupid to know when the joke is. People are too lazy and too stupid to think for themselves because America has raised them that way.
