what the hell happened to mtv??!! when did it become the reality channel? i went downstairs this morning to do cardio, and in the 30 mins i was there i seen 1....1 video!!! wtf is going on!!! so, i turn to vh1...yea, ok. same shyt!!!! what happened to fuse? what happened to mtv??!! WHY CANT I FIND MUSIC VIDEO'S!!!!!!!!!!!!

i've only watched fuse a couple times and it was the sh it! played a lot of metal. but i can def vouch for mtv not having any music vids. mtv2 has vids, but mostly rap.

really??!! i coulda swore that i was watching mtv in the morning last spring (same time) and they played like, top 20 requested and new videos...shyt, that's where i got turned on to avenged sevenfold! wtf!! that's so stupid...if those "reality" shows (aint my fawkin reality) are soooo great, why dont they put THOSE on mt2??!!

I've caught glimpses of 'My Sweet Sixteen'. What a sickening show. They take these spoiled ass brats who think they're shyt doesn't stink and throw them the ultimate birday bash. The one scene I saw had this girl's mom taking her out buying clothes and such. Her mother buys her an 800.00 pair of shoes, the girl smiles into the camera and says something along the lines of 'my parents spend money on me cuz they love me so much'. How disgusting!
The terrible thing about it is that this generation of children believe that that's reality. MTV and other mediums portray this distorted image of what teenagers 'have to be'. You can see it everyday. Today's teens are impolite, grandiose, and have a sense of entitlement to anything and everything they want.
LoL anyways bring back Downtown Julie Brown, John Sencio, Kennedy, and Headbanger's ball. Atleast MTV was halfway decent in those days.

yeah, all the music channels are **** now, and theyve been that way for awhile. the ****ing dating shows are so horrible. like the one where the guys take the mothers out on dates and such. its sooo damn scripted and staged. mtv only cares about the 14-18 year olds now

It's the same thing on the radio, used to hear music. now all ya hear is Howard Stern till 11:00am, then from 13:00 till 18:00 some silly talk s#it between the DJs'. MTV was pretty cool back when it first came out. now it's more like NTV.
