Accepted racism

Ya know, we keep hearing about blacks and whites like with the latest Imus fiasco. We hear about folks biitchin about the borders, you're a racist if you complain about illegals, you're not if you have no stance. What strikes me as funny is that none of these people doin all the biitchin complain about what seems to have become accepted racism against those from the Middle East since 9/11. Does this strike anyone else as odd?

what strikes me as odd is that us white people have no back bone anymore. black people can get up in the media and say WHATEVER the **** they want. we mentioned blck and we're considered racist. It just goes to show how racist t his country really is. and its not whites hating the minorities its everyone

well...middle eastern, or middle eastern decended americans...there's a diff. middle easterners are still there...the racism is on both sides. people of middle eastern decent that are americans, i have no hard feeling for what so ever. my best friend is wassam (sam for short) he is iraqi. i love him like a brother. me and my wife, him and his (she is also iraqi) are very tight. i'm close with his younger brothers and sisters as well. i dont see it much up here kite, dearborn (detroit suburb) has the most people of middle eastern decent than anywhere in the world other than the middle east, so i know plenty of "middle easterners"...maybe i just dont see it...maybe it's just hidden more here becouse of the make up of the populis...i dont know. but the black and white thing up here is still kickin!!

I was watching a black comedian the other night and he was mocking societies position on this by saying things like "I'm can't be racist, I'm a minority, I just don't like white people" and that is a pretty good description of our societies attitude about racism.

The whole border issue gets me heated up. Living next to Tijuana you see a lot of stuff that doesnt make any sense. You see hospitals closed down, anchor babies, drugs and gun due to illegals. My parents worked their asses off to get into this country and just because we live next to a shiit country doesnt mean they get a free ride to get here. You see more Mexican flags flying down in Southern San Diego then American, if youre so proud to fly that flag why did you come to America. My other issue is if you come to this great country of ours Learn to speak english, if might be a good idea if you can read the bill of rights. A language barrier only seperates the individuals of this great country, one language will help unify, How can we be "United as we Stand" when we are singing two different anthems. So if you want to call me a racist I really dont care. I want our border protected the fact is we dont know what is coming across the borders. If you want to come to this great country then great go about the legal way. Sure you can pull that "the pilgrims were illegal" crap out of your butt but wars created border and we now live in a time of laws that you must follow.

The problem I have with the US govt immagration policies is that any refugee from any country should have an equal shot at getting in. But the statistics show that asians get the vast majority of legal immagration. Try being from Africa and getting a green card. Even if you get married to an American it`s next to impossible. But an American married to Japanese... it`s just a question of paperwork.

Immagration laws should be enforced equally and any person should have an equal chance to get in.

where i live i see racism everyday!!! the black guy's up here are very open about it...i had a guy i managed that was real bad!! he would slam on white people (only me and my son was white, the other guys were middle eastern) and look at us and say "but not you dave"...lol..riiiight

I see it everywhere.

Democracy is in a way, the ability to protect its minority, but when the minorities are taking over the majority over race, religion and "human rights"
I cannot condem it enought!

all I know is that no one im my family enslaved anyone so they need to give it up. Tragedy happens all through history. It sucks its sad its hard its painful but thats what history is the past to learn from. I'm so tired of seeing Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton on the TV. I am by far not a racist and have many friends of many colors. But bottom line this is america where we all live together as a mix of blood to be a great nation. I'm just tired of seeing reverse racisism because thats what we have now.
