he has done everything the doctors have told him and its to the point that they have said that there is nothing more they can do for him. He has and is going to rehab/sports med doc that is helping him out but the docs are done with him. He just doesnt want to give up like they have so I am doing every thing I can to try and get information to him.

He tries to be active but some days the pain gets to him. He is making it into the gym 5 days a week but some days it might not be for too long.

I really appreciate everyones help!!

Damn! Nerve damage from a cut.
Nerves take a LONG time to heal, the GH may help but I honestly don't know.

I'm sure that's the majority of the reason for a lot of this.
IT sucks and I know it's not a good answer but it may just take time.

I am really sorry to hear about that happening to him.
