I agree Ron Paul might be a great candidate, but I have a strong feeling that unless we get an independent in office that is neither Republican nor Democrat, the vicious cycle will continue. If that ever happened it would send shockwaves throughout the political world!

i agree, an independent would make a huge difference, but then it would be 3 parties and they would all be controlled..we need a new system of voting..i think the only time an independent has come close is roosevelt in his second run with the bull moose party(?)..and thats cause he was already pres and had lots of $$
You have more faith then me..think of the repubs as the gambinis and the dems as the gottis and both are controlled by a higher group..That group sets the rules and isnt gonna let anyone else intefere with their business of politics. Besides People will never "waste" their vote because they are stuck in the paradigm..I think thats why ron paul went from liberatrian to repub.
