THE PEOPLE UPSTAIRS HAD A SINK LEAK IN THERE KITCHEN. WELL SINCE THEY ARENT FROM THIS COUNTRY THEY DIDNT KNOW HOW TO SHUT OFF THE WATER UNDER THERE SINK. SO IT RAN FOR 4 DAYS AND OUR KITCHEN CEILING IS WASTED.IT ALSO LEAKED ON OUR CABINETS. WHO THE HELL DOESNT KNOW HOW TO SHUT OFF WATER UNDER THERE SINK OR TOILET. DONT THEY HAVE SHUT OFFS IN OTHER COUNTRIES.WELL NEW CEILING NEW CABINETS.

That sucks, now you have to make sure everything is totally dry before they can finish the job to avoid mold growth.I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.

What about the wood framing, did it get wet? If not, then all new drywall will do the trick. But, with the moisture levels you guys have, I would make sure they mold proof it.I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.

I hear ya Fuzo! I had immigrants above me also. When I put my condo up on the market their toilet started leaking real bad and caved in my cieling. Needless to say I ended up having to patch it up and sell it like that. Freaking wonderful timing!Comment

INSURANCE AJUSTER CAME. THE WHOLE CEILING NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AND THE SIDE OF THE WALLS AND A FEW CABINETS AND MY LIGHT FIXTURES I HAD ON TOP IF THE CABINETS.Disclaimer: Steroid use is illegal in a vast number of countries around the world.
