    My fellow computer geeks!

    Guess what I bought? Acer 9805WKHI laptop with the 20.1" screen. This thing is bad ass. It's not that portable for a laptop but it makes a great desktop replacement. It has the works, NVIDIA GeForce 7600 video card with 256MB RAM. 2GB DDR2, 802.11abg wireless LAN and Bluetooth. It has dual SATA 120GB drives with RAID 0,1 and RAID Matrix capability. Built in webcam and TV Tuner. Only thing I don't like is the processor. It comes with the Intel Core Duo T2600. I wanted the Core 2 Duo T7600. Oh well, I can't have everything! Also it didn't come with Vista which I consider a blessing. It came with XP Media Center 2005. I'm going to install Linux (Mepris distro) as a dual boot system.

    All of that doesn't mean much to me. But congrats on the new computer, its always nice to have cool toys.

              raid on a laptop? thats hot! the screen is humongus for a laptop. tv tuners are awesome, i have it on my desktop. what that set you back, im curious
