          It somehow conserves energy. I had someone explain it to me once and it made sense. For us here in Colorado, it's very important because without it, it would get way to early due to the sun dropping behind the mountains, so you have to use your lights more.
          I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.

            i like the extra hour of light at night!!! very good for biz, and i like a little light when i get home!

              Oh yeah, it also helps the kids too. In stead of sitting at the bus stop in the morning in teh dark, it's a little more lit so that keeps them a little safer too.
              I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.

                i dont know....#1 i went to school when i was a kid in the dark...we was fine. you still have overlapping times after and before the time change, and it seems fine...maybe i just dont here of stuff happening...i'd rather have the dark in the morning, and the light at night (man bro, me and you are just bumping heads tonight!! lol)

                  No, I agree with you, it's better to have the light at night to save on utilities. I don't think we disagree on that. The kids thing was just another one of the reasons I remember hearing for why it was good. But yeah, I like it better to have light at night. During the winter months it gets dark at 4:00 here because of the mountains. Well, I can't take pictures of homes when it's dark so I would much rather have the extra light at night. But, in the summer, I can take pictures until 7:00 to 7:30 so it's a huge difference for us in the mountains.

                      why not just change school start times in winter an hour later instead of phuqing up everything

                        Most other countries don't follow daylight saving time. I say we keep it like this and don't change it.

                              Whatever they want to do. I don't really care. lol When we change it Saturday I would like to see it just stay that way. But but it's been changing my whole life so whatever.
