You guys are allowing the media to twist this information`s relevance.
By associating the anti-globalwarming agenda that Gore proposes with a single human`s hyprocacy you allow the media to distract you from the real question.
Now you guys are so angry at Gore about his house that you now carry a negative impression of the anti-globalwarming agenda because it is attached to Gore.
Did you ever think that any of those in Washington were not millionaires? DC house, home state house, vacation house(s) in Vail, Hawaii, SC coastline mansions, etc. Of course they ALL are, it`s just part of the deal.
Should we hate the idea of giving money to the poor because Jerry Falwell says "give money to the poor" but in actuality Mr. Falwell has multiple houses, cars and lifestyle beyond what he needs?
No of course not. But I would be suspicous of people who supported an arguement like that.
The real question is who owns the newspaper where that story was published and WHY that information was deemed more newsworthy than Mr. Falwell`s misgivings about money.
