Re: Whatever happened to freedom of speech?

his point is there is no value to money anymore, which is true..money used to be a receipt, now its just paper.. Greenspan actually backs the gold standard slowly coming back along with Ron Paul. For a better understanding of what DJ is talking about and the federal reserve and our monetary system you guys need to watch Freedom to Fascism. It isnt "conspiracies" and it explains the topic in detail. http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...sm+video&hl=en

On another note, i truly believe a merger with canada and mexico is coming unfortunately. On the positive side, It will help our weakening dollar rise, and there are too many negatives to name, but i think it will happen in the next ten years.

See now I don't take that as a slam. I actually laugh at that. But if I were to of made that comment everyone would have been crying I was flaming again. I love the politics in that!

Again your not getting what I'm saying. I'm not saying they should print money to solve the problem. I'm saying we shouldn't have ever had the Federal Reserve print our money. We should have been doing it and never should have given that right to a private company! Given that right to a private company is like giving some random the key to your house, telling them you have millions under your pillowcase, and then expecting it to still be there when you get home! They have given extreme power to a select few and the result has absolutely decimated our country!

Do you not get that since the Federal Reserve prints the money is the reason we are in debt? Do you not get that if we printed money, and never gave that right to a private company we would have zero debt? Do you not get that we used to back our money by gold & silver and that is the amount we would print. Now it's backed by nothing so in all essence all they are doing is printing worthless paper. What's the difference?

Funny if I'm so stupid with economics I'd love a quick lesson on what happened on 1913 that changed our economical stance as a country in the worst possible way? If your so much more superior, clue me in oh great one.

Kind of like if you smoke your rates are higher. Simple as that. Your choice is a direct result of what happens to your pocket book. The choice in this case is they decide to come out of the closet. Good for them, but unfortunately there's always negatives that come with the positive. No pun intended.
That's discrimination bro. It sounds good on paper, but it doesn't work that way. It's one thing if you are 400 pounds, then they can justify raising your rates, but I know for a fact that AIDS and the spread of AIDS is calculated into everyone's premiums. That's a fact. And, as AIDS spreads more and more, premiums will go up. If cancer %'s increase, premiums increase, but the difference is, some people can't avoid inherited cancer. But, homosexuals, which is the highest growing percentage of AIDS in this country, CAN do something about it, they just don't. So, it does in fact impact everyones premiums.

the 16 ammendment,lol..which we dont need if we could just print money,lol..i kind of see where you are coming from, but the money our govt spends has to be backed by something...whether gold, silver, or as a debt...they cant just spend what they want....if they want to buy a trillion dollar airplane they cant just print the money out.

No offense, but you don't actually believe that the only reasone this country is in debt is because we don't print our own money do you? I mean, it couldn't possible have anything to do with our country spending more than it makes or anything like that. The truth is, this country went through 2 big depressions, that is what started us into debt. We had to borrow money from all kinds of countries. Now, after WWII we were at such a bomb that we were not in debt at all. And that was well after 1913. Then, came the 70's when things got tough again, and we found ourselves in all these wars after WWII, that is what got us in debt, spending more than we made. It's the same with people, the only way you get into debt is when you spend more than you make. I doubt one bit that if this country printed it own money that we would be out of debt. If we just printed enough money to make up for it, the value of the paseo would be worth more than a dollar. Money must be backed by something or else every country in the world would just print off money like crazy. Think about it, African countries could just print off billions and billions of dollars and give it to the poor. According to your system, as long as the country was in control of the printing that's all they would have to do, right? Wrong. If ever struggling country just printed out money to make up for it, they value of their currency would drop. It's basic economics. Whether money is back by gold or not is not the point, it's backed by something or else it has no value.

I worry about you guys. I really do.
How does "Freedom of Speech" turn into sucking c0cks? Who the phuque cares if people want to suck a dick, or marry another man. Isn't that why we're the Land of the free? Seperation of Church and state. I could give 2 ****s if Bill wants to marry Tom. If they love each other enough, God Bless them. I wish them the best. And who am I to judge or tell them it's wrong? I'm just a poor ole banker from PA. I know we all hate it when someone not in our line of business tries to explain our job to us. Isn't that great! A trashman wants to explain to me how to calculate equity in his home! Huh! I love it. So who am I to say what's right or wrong. The man will do that. That's his job.

Here are my 2 cents/ opinions on Homosexuality, don't wanna spark no argument....First, I am a Christian and as a Christian Homosexuality is wrong. That being said that is their problem not mine. If they choose to sin by choosing that lifestyle, so be it. I also sin because I am not perfect and a sin is a sin no matter what type of sin it is. I also would not let the fact that someone is a homo stop me from interacting with them in all walks of life, business or personal. Now, getting back to the whole " thats so gay" phrase that started this thread, if I am talking to my friend, a personal conversation, and say "thats gay" to him and a nearby gay person confronts me about it, without a doubt I would pop him in the face because the one thing I can't stand is someone telling me what I can and can't say especially when it has nothing to do with them! And not just gay remarks......
