I see your point but crack does infringe on people rights because of the violent and criminal state of mind it puts them in. Crackheads will do anything to do crack.

Marijuana on the other hand is a different story. Even our forefathers smoked up. That shouldn't be illegal, but should be illegal to be under the influence of when driving because that then could endanger my life which then is infringing upon my rights. You don't hear about a gang of pot heads robbing people to go get more marijuana. Their to busy sleeping to do that! HAHA!

If you don't think my definition of freedom was dead on give us yours.

What if you're not gay, but you like the taste of ****? Is there anything wrong with that? I'm asking for a friend of mine in Chicago.

Yeah then step out on the limb and watch those videos I posted. You'll be even more depressed. You'll be inundated with absolute helplessness! You'll probably also be enraged thinking of what will become of your childrens future. Then at that point you will understand where I'm coming from when it comes to politics.

So many are afraid to watch anything that might possibly be against what they believe in. I for one watch any type of video from every side. By doing that I ensure being able to logically piece together what truly happened, or where the truth lies. You know what they say....When told two stories somewhere between lies the truth!

But what people don't realize is they are actually hurting their childrens future by not making the effort to learn what is going on. If people learned and understood some of the stuff I know now their would probably be an uprising. And actually here's a direct quote from one of our ex presidents about that subject.............

"It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning".........Henry Ford

Just another example of how americans are not educated fully on what is truly going on. It gets worse and worse as time goes on, and more and more people refuse to accept the fact that they could be living a lie. Before they know it their freedoms will all be gone and it will be to late!

A perfect example of what's happening is the movie 'V for Vendeatta'.

We are becoming a police state whether you want to believe it or not. Don't believe me go look up any info on the 'National ID Card' that will be required by all US citizens by May 2008. It has a tracking chip on it also. Don't you love the idea of being able to be tracked wherever you go?

That's just the tip of the iceberg. This stuff was all over CNBC and everything. Serious stuff.

Re: Whatever happened to freedom of speech?

                  My hypothesis on homosexuals:
I think their victims (for lack of a better word) of our cultures stereotypes and the desire of our society to categorize people by their sex and sexual preference.

I think humans desire is to have an orgasm. I think cultures determine where the acceptable boundaries are and what is taboo in regards to that. In antiquity, if Roman men went to a party wanting to get laid and the party wound up to be mostly men - they f'd each other. There was not a cultural boundary where that was determined as immoral. Some scholars say Spartans were man boy lovers (that makes you look at "300" in a different light!)

In our society if a male grows up wanting to play with dolls and other "girl stuff", he doesn't fit in the typical stereotype, at all. I think the label of gay is an attempt to justify and explain an unacceptable, nonconforming personality. Yeah, the same biochemical makeup that kept him from "meeting" the stereotype could have an impact on what traits he finds valuable and attractive in other people but I think associating those traits strictly with the same gender is irrational.

I tend not to think homosexuality is genetic, I think we may have created it. Yeah, homosexual acts exist but to define someone by those acts, while holding those acts taboo, helps them confine themselves particularly to those acts, just like if we were to define someone by whether they participated in oral sex or not - Oh, I'm an oral-sexual. If oral sex was considered immoral and you had people who enjoyed it and those who thought it was a sin. People that participated in oral sex would be segregated against and since they were isolated by the act, the act starts to define them. Of course you couldn't identify an oral-sexual couple in public, so the comparison falls short a bit.

Thats just a thought, not a belief but anyway back on topic, I agree that in a free society your free to get offended but thats your problem not the person that offended you and crack should be legal as well as mary jane!!!

Not a big fan of the homos myself. What do I do about it? Whenever it comes up I vote and send letters, etc... against gay rights. The whole gay rights thing pisses me off anyway.

I'm not a fan of homo's but why oppose gay rights and let it piss you off? It is not affecting your life? It pisses me off, when the government tries to tell people what they can and cannot do, whether I agree with it or not.

Re: Whatever happened to freedom of speech?

It affects me if they are given certain "rights" that taxpayers foot the bill for. Also I feel that some of the proposed "rights" could down the road play out so as to affect me. I know it sounds like bull**** at face value but I don't judge them. What I mean by that is that I don't judge the person, just the act. I would never tell someone that they're condemned to hell or whatever, but what I would and do say is not to throw that crap up in my face and ask for "rights". I don't try to force my beliefs on anyone and I certainly don't expect them to do it either.

Well, I have a couple reasons....one, I don't think it's right they should get full medical beneifts if they are in a state that doesn't allow gay marriage....two, their lifestyle has had a direct impact on my health insurance costs....three, they get special treatment. Companies like FORD make their employees go through an awareness course to be more sensitive to gays. That cost money, which costs the consumer eventually. They want to be treated equally but then they want special treatment on top of that and I think it's totaly bull****! Why should they be able to have full medical benefits and yet common law couples can't? It's not fair, if they want fair, then they need to play fair. I'm just sick and tired of the doulbe standard.
I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.

Dude the government can pinpoint a nickel on the ground from space but they can't find a freaking cave dweller?

You want me to believe that our military was so incompetent that they weren't able to scramble fighter jets to shoot it down? They had plenty of time to shoot it down! Don't you find it quite odd that the government was running drills using the same scenario as what happened on that day so the Norad jets in the air didn't know if it was real or fake?

Did you know that on the day of the london bombings they also were running drills using the exact same scenario of what happened on that day, so when it happened the law enforcement had no clue what was going on was real!

Do me a favor and answer each one of those questions. I'm going to answer yours now.......

No I don't feel radical Islamics could have pulled that off. We have way to much technology to not be able to stop a few radicals. Is it probable they got on the plane without any issue? Yes it's Probable. Is it probable they took over the plane? Yes that's probable also. Is it probably they made it over an hour away and no american military plane was able to get to it in time to shoot it down? NO WAY IN HELL! You all talk about the superiority of our military, but then you want to tell me we weren't able to shoot down an unarmed passenger plane?!

Even if you wanted to argue that they had no clue. Fine. What about the second plane? Or the plane heading to the Pentagon? By this time they knew what was going on. By that time they should have been shooting any plane down that wasn't on it's intended path! That's not even taking into consideration that there were warning that planes were going to be used that day.

About the charging them question...It's not that they can't charge them, it's that the majority of them are involved. Do some more research and you'll learn that the majority of the elected officials are corrupted. The few that aren't don't outweigh the majority that do. When it comes to a vote, majority overcomes minority with voting.

Lastly do you understand that our government has tried numerous times to fly under the flag of a different country (impersonating another country) and attacked it's own vessels and fleets to glorify and get public approval of war? This isn't speculation, this is declassified by our own government. You can look that up and find it yourself. I can even give you a number of examples if you'de like.
